Mission and Goals of the The Abdur-Raqib Global Islamic Foundation (TARGIF) Prison Outreach Program and Services.

Mission:

1. Reach out to the Incarcerated who are interested in learning Islam.
2. Provide educational programs and services to the Incarcerated Muslims.
3. Advocate for the religious rights of the Incarcerated Muslims.

Goals:

1. Train a team of Volunteer Muslim Chaplains (Men and Women)
2, Organize weekly Friday prayers (Salatul Ju'mmah) and provide weekly Islamic educational classes.
3. Develop Islamic educational materials specific to prison environment, complying with Prisons regulations.
4. Re-Entry and Re-Integration programs that will offer new life-skills training; moral and financial support to re-enter and re-integrate into society.
4. Facilitate job opportunities post release.
